(who)Researchers from France , Germany and the US studied (when)nine previous trials have (what)nearly 1,250 people is the chance of one extra haemorrhagic stroke - bleeding in the brain.
(why)Haemorrhagic strokes are the least common type and occur when a weakened blood vessel supplying the brain ruptures and causes brain damage.
(how)Researchers not only found that vitamin E increased the risk of this kind of stroke but also found that vitamin E could actually cut the risk of ischaemic strokes - the most common type of stroke.
So they believe vitamin E could cut the risk.
